How Do I Clean my Buckles?

Care Instructions:

  • Wipe clean with a soft dry cloth after each wear
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to water and moisture
  • Store in a cool dry place when not in use
  • Do not use chemical cleaners or abrasive materials on the surface
Every Iron Summit buckle starts with a hand-sculpted wax mold, carved to capture every line and detail before a single drop of metal is poured. Molten silver-toned metal is carefully hand-poured into a sand casting tray and left to cool naturally. Once pulled from the mold every edge is hand-filed, hand-ground, and gone over with an engraving tool to bring out the depth you see in the finished piece. Our antique patina finish is then worked into every recess by hand so the raised detail catches the light exactly the way it should. No two buckles come out exactly alike — and that's exactly how we like it.
